Year End in Review

Happy New Year!!!!

Normally, I'd post a quick, I am so excited for the new year, and how much inspiration its going to bring! But I think what I really want to do, is show you our 2009 is pictures, since pictures speak 1,000 words, it might be funner!

So here goes...

So a brief explaination:

Top Row: A slight change in our marketing and Eventology - totally loved meeting people that I have talked with for years and made some friends for life!

Second Row: Make new friends and keep the old ones, some are silver and the others gold! The first is of, myself, Stewart Powers, Amanda, and Amanda - we had a great time at TJ's Studio Networking Event, And then the fun we've had the office, PJ Party and Halloween!

Third Row: My Best Friends Wedding, and at the same time, same picture, what you don't see is that I got to work with and made friends for life with Wes and Rae Leytham (Love Love Love - but don't tell them, I hear Wes gets a big head) and our Bridal Shows, along with Let's Eat Cake! You all know how much that meant to me!

Fourth Row: Photobooth fun with Matt Radlinski from Verve Studios, formally known as Prince K-Gallery, me being a dork, shoveling an entire cupcake in my face (another thing marked off my life list), My sister's cake from Let's Eat Cake!, and Keri Vincent, meeting her (another thing marked off my life list).

Fifth Row: Speaking at The School of Rad and the funness that ensued, and more photobooth fun with Angela from Adore Events.

And so much more! 2009 was amazing! But honestly, like alot of you, I am glad to see it come to an end!

Welcome 2010! Let's ROCK YOU!

Great Parts For The Racing Enthusiast!

You are on your final lap of what has been an adventurous race filled with mayhem, mishaps, and a near misstep that could have cost you dearly. The two top drivers are within reach as you navigate the track’s final turn. Do you risk it? Will you swing over to the left lane and pass them both or settle for a strong third place finish instead? Certainly, this “close, but no cigar” finish would be a moral victory for some drivers, but not for you. Suddenly, you swing your wheels to the left, press the pedal to the metal and pass driver #2 and edge just ahead of driver #1 as the checkered flag waves down before you. You win the race by mere inches because of the confidence you have in your car.

Oh, were we all so confident in our rides! You may not be a race car driver, but if you value performance then you know that keeping your car well maintained is essential toward ensuring a safe and fun ride every time. Importantly, upgrading your car to include premium performance parts is a necessity, so let’s take a look at what racing enthusiasts the world over are doing to achieve maximum control.

What good is a performance car if it doesn’t “speak” performance? Specifically, the tone of your vehicle’s exhaust system should tell everyone that your car has the power to go along with its performance. That is why choosy drivers are selecting performance Remus exhaust systems for their rides. A Remus exhaust system is imported from Germany and can be found on many Mercedes, Mini, Volkswagen, and BMW cars. In America, Jeep and Ford owners have learned that the stainless steel and aluminum components that go into every Remus exhaust system can ensure a long life, better performance, and a great tone. Remus backs up their product with an unlimited 3 year warranty.

A great set of shocks on every vehicle is necessary and all the more so if you put your car through the paces. Every single turn and every single lift in the road can be navigated with confidence if your car has the right shocks or struts to ensure maximum control. KYB has been the original equipment shock for more manufacturers worldwide then any other brand for many years now. Enthusiasts select KYB performance shocks for maximum damping and greater tolerances every time. No brand can possibly match KYB in popularity and for offering the best bang for the buck.

A Turbonetics intercooler can give your ride more power and torque without an adverse impact on engine endurance. As a bolt on turbo system, Turbonetics can quickly provide more power, use less fuel, and is available on a variety of gasoline and diesel applications. Drivers of the Toyota Supra, select full size Chevy pick ups, and owners of the Subaru Impreza have all learned that a Turbonetics turbocooler can maximize power and performance quickly without a big time loss in downtime.

Yes, you may never compete in a NASCAR race or qualify for the Indy 500, however that doesn’t mean you can’t maximize your ride’s performance. Install high quality and cost effective car parts from the Race Pages wholesale store today to achieve that race car edge.

Get Excited About Affiliate Marketing - The 2 Z's of "Zap 'em" With "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" For Success

If you are in the generation that can remember the Walt Disney movie "Song of the South" (released December 2nd, 1946) you can appreciate the wonderful magic Disney brought with the tales of Uncle Remus and Brer Rabbit. I still remember watching Brer Rabbit hop in the flowers and Uncle Remus singing, "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay; My, oh my, what a wonderful day; Plenty of sunshine headin' my way; Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay."

I bring this up in today's article because with Affiliate Marketing and actually with anything in life, you need to have a "passion" and "peace" in all that you do that will personify how happy you are at what you are doing. I call this "Zap" 'em with the "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" for success. Uncle Remus personified the melodious "peace" in the song and Brer Rabbit the "passion" of smelling every flower in the grove.

I've learned through the years that people can see, hear and read right through you. If you doubt who you are and are not comfortable with your beliefs, position in life or in any way portray "insecurity", people will sense this. Some (usually family and friends) will be forgiving, others will likely walk away and go look for someone who provides that sense of "peace" and "passion".

If on the other hand, and hopefully you personify this, you are happy, upbeat, love what you do and know you are doing the right thing with your life and life's purpose, people will listen and want to share in your enthusiasm. It will rub off. It will excite them and they will want to be a part of it. This "law of attraction" will pass from you to all the people in your "community" or "upline". Remember my article on "Affiliate Marketing and the 4 U's of "Unlimited Upline User Utopia". If you "Zap 'em" (your clients) with the "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" of excitement you will attract an "Unlimited Upline User Utopia"! Good luck in your Affiliate Marketing quest and I sure hope, "Ev'rything is satisfactch'll"!

The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian Movie - How to Safely Choose a Movie Download Service

So you've been surfing the net and decided you would like to download The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. First you need to be aware that you can't just download movies anywhere. There are thousands of site out there offering "free" movies. In actuality these are nothing more than scams and virus sites. Save yourself the headache and invest in a real download service. Most of them charge a small one time membership fee which is quite reasonable when you consider the price of movie tickets and gas these days. A simple trip to the movie theater can easily run you $30 or more these days. So what exactly comprises a safe and reliable movie download service? Well that's what you're about to find out.

First you'll want to find a site that offer unlimited downloads and no time restrictions. Downloading movies like The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian takes considerable bandwidth and you wouldn't want to spend all day downloading a single movie.

Secondly you're going to want to check their available selection. Some of the better sites offer libraries in the 80-100 million range. These libraries contain anything from your favorite movies and television shows to music and video games.

Thirdly you'll want to check for picture quality. Having all the movies in the world is meaningless if they look terrible when played. Make sure the service offer DVD quality movie downloads.

Lastly you should make sure they offer tech support. You likely won't have any problems, but it's nice to have the option available.

On a side note, many of these sites offer free incentives for joining. The most common of these being discounts and free software. The free software is an excellent bonus and one you should definitely take advantage of. Free software generally includes movie players, DVD copy software, CD copy software and sometimes anti-virus software.

Now that you know how to choose a reliable movie download service you can enjoy endless hours of your favorite movies, tv programs, and sporting events.

Exploring Some of the Best Attractions in Rome

According to popular legend, the city of Rome owes its origins to the twins, Romulus and Remus. Following a dispute between Romulus and Remus, Romulus murdered Remus and gave the city its name. From there, the city grew into the administrative centre of an empire which stretched from Britain to Mesopotamia, and at one time was the largest, richest and most important city in the entire Western World.

Today a holiday in Rome can prove very fascinating, thanks to the varied range of historical sites and monuments that are dotted throughout the city. While there are many guided tours around the city, most of the major sites are recognisable from a distance and very well signposted throughout the city.

One of the sites which best depicts ancient Rome is the Circus Maximus. At the height of the Roman Empire, this stunning oval building provided seating for 50,000 spectators who came to watch gladiators pitch their strength against Rome's toughest beasts. And as a major entertainment centre of the Roman Empire, the Circus Maximus is a must see attraction. When in operation, the Circus Maximus could seat as many as 250,000 people; but while much of the building has been restored, looting by builders throughout history has left some parts unrecognisable.

Unlike the Circus Maximus and indeed every other building from the period, the Pantheon has the unique privilege of being the only building to remain intact. Originally a celebration of the various Roman Gods, the building survived the destruction many other pagan buildings suffered when the pope revamped it as a Christian Church in 609 A.D.

One of Rome's most popular attractions, the Trevi fountain proves top of most tourists' visiting lists. Indeed, legend has it that if you throw a coin into the fountain, you are destined to return to Rome. The legend has proved so popular that the fountain collects around three thousand Euros in coins per day, with the money now funding a local charity.

Although technically in a separate state to the Trevi fountain, the Vatican is another major highlight of any trip to Rome. With a population of around eight hundred people, Vatican City is the smallest independent state in the world; however, it is home to a vast array of history and power than most major cities can offer. The world centre of Catholicism, the Vatican is heavily guarded; although, it is good to know that parts such as the Basilica of St Peter and the Vatican Museums are open to tourists to view.

Of course, there are plenty of guidebooks and websites offering a wealth of information on what to see and do. In addition, when you arrive you will find that most Rome hotels should also be able to advise you on what the city has to offer.

But having had such a prominent place at the forefront of European history, the most difficult thing about a trip to Rome is deciding which of the attractions you are going to have the time to see.

Using Renewable Energy at Home

Chances are, you have heard a great deal about using plant based fuels to power automobiles and homes. At the same time, these systems will still force you to remain reliant on commercial energy generations systems. Without a question, if you are interested in renewable energy, you should look for ways to grow or obtain the resources, as well as use them on your own property.

Converting Cooking Grease to Fuel

Even if you live in the city, chances are you can convert cooking grease into a viable fuel source. Unlike using corn and sugar cane, you will also have peace of mind knowing that your energy needs are not contributing to the starvation of millions of people all over the world. You will also find that converting cooking oil into fuel will help reduce landfill waste, and therefore help you save money on your trash bill.

Building a Grease Generator

Almost all electrical generator systems require an engine to turn a motor. The motor, in turn, produces electrical current. Even though commercial generators are enormous in size, you can use much smaller systems to generate sufficient, and reliable energy for your home. Among other things, you may want to consider combining a lawn mower engine with an electrical motor. You may also be able to purchase cheap diesel automobile engines from any number of junk yards.

All you will need to do is convert the lawn mower engine to accept fuel created from cooking grease. From there, you will need to take the torque generated by the lawn mower engine and use it to turn the electrical motor. In many cases, you should at least be able to power most of your small appliances, as well as feed excess energy into a battery backup system. This may be used to compensate for wind and solar systems, as well as produce direct current for your household needs.

You can view more information on using renewable energy at home by visiting Earth 4 Energy

World of Warcraft Honor Bot

What exactly is a World of Warcraft Honor Bot?

A World of Warcraft Honor Bot is a program that runs your World of Warcraft character for you. It will queue for battlegrounds, accept the queue, and attempt to gain you honor while in the battleground by repeating some set of predetermined actions. Usually these actions are fairly limited, and players will quickly pick up on the fact that you're botting.

Repercussions of Using a World of Warcraft Honor Bot

Botting is of course against World of Warcraft's Terms of Service. However, if you play a few games of Alterac Valley, you will quickly realize how little is actually done about botting. Game after game is plagued with people sitting in caves, running into trees, and generally just being useless. The people running these bots are not even trying to hide it in most cases because the repercussions are so minimal. It seems you only get a 3-day account suspension and lose your honor points for your first offense. That's assuming you get caught, which seems to be a very rare occurrence. I assume the punishment is worse for repeated offenses, but I have my doubts.

My Views on World of Warcraft Honor Bots

I personally consider the use of bots to be cheating. I think it grants people an unfair advantage and degrades the game as a whole. Sadly others do not feel the same and until Blizzard takes a more aggressive approach to dealing with botters they will remain a constant annoyance for many World of Warcraft players.

The Beginning of the City Called Rome

According to Roman mythology the history of Rome began in 753 B.C. when a basket, floating on the Tiber River, came ashore near an area called seven hills. According to this legend the basket carried twin babies, Romulus and Remus. Their mother was the daughter of a nearby king, and their father, was supposed to be Mars, the god of war. Their uncle was the villain, who had set them in the basket on the river to protect his title to the throne. Mythology also says that the brothers were found by a she-wolf and she took care of the two babies. Then later on a shepherd found them and took them home, where he and his wife both cared for them.

When they grew up, Romulus and Remus got even with their uncle by replacing him on the throne with their grandfather. Then they built a city at a place called the Palatine Hill. Romulus invited fugitives to his hill and gave them wives by having a festival for a nearby tribe, the Sabines, then taking their women.

The legend of Romulus and Remus is really a far out story and yet based on truth. In mythology, Rome had humble beginnings and also in reality. In this legend Rome had a war god as its progenitor and wolf milk in its stomach, implying that its citizens had an ability for warfare, which they would prove many times.

In the beginning of Rome's history, the city was defeated by a people called the Etruscans, the most prominent civilization in Italy prior to Rome's rise to power. The Etruscans influenced Roman civilization, who had migrated to Italy from Asia Minor, around the 12th century B.C. Their history is a mystery, because their language is not related to any language. Their Italian homeland, which was Etruria, was made up of a confederation of city-states. They were known for their work, such as, metalworking and their fine pottery. The Etruscans were at the peak of their rule during the 6th century B.C. However, by the year 500 B.C. their civilization was headed downward, and at around that time the Romans rose up and took control of their city, creating a republic.

A patrician class in the beginning controlled Rome, but eventually the Plebs, or common people, came into power. In 390 B.C., when Greece and Persia were super powers in the world, Rome still in a weak condition was conquered by the Gauls. However,, during the 4th and 3rd centuries B.C., the Romans became conquerors of both central and southern Italy. Then, Roman armies went into Greece, where they were both conquerors and conquered. They defeated the Greek armies, but they were overtaken by Greek culture and brought back to Rome a desire for fine art and literature.

Rome's most powerful adversary was now the city of Carthage, who ruled North Africa and the western Mediterranean. In the Punic Wars, for more than ten long years, Rome was humiliated by having a Carthaginian army on its soil. Neither Rome nor Carthage, led by the great Hannibal, could see victory. So, the end result was that the Carthaginians were forced to withdraw, with the Romans forcing them back to Africa. In 202 B.C. at the battle of Zama, Rome defeated Carthage. Both of the nations had peace for a few decades, then another Punic War began. Rome saw victory once again, destroying Carthage.

Now during the next two hundred years the Roman Empire expanded very swiftly, conquering many of the nations at one time ruled by Alexander the Great, which included Greece, Asia Minor, Syria, and Egypt. While endeavoring to rule the entire Mediterranean world, Rome also defined its own civilization and political organization. With reservations, the city offered citizenship widely to other Italian towns and to those who they felt were beneath them as far as their social standing was concerned.

Then, in the year 60 B.C., a triumvirate, which was a three-man executive board consisting of Gaius Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great, and Marcus Licinius Crassus ruled Rome. Caesar had risen to power as a popular democratic leader. He was also a impressive general. During the next ten long years he fought the Gallic Wars, leading a Roman army all the way north to Britain.

Vendorzilla: Florist

Dear Floristzilla, a bride usually has some very specific ideas for her flowers, or her colors, or her look. And she really puts a lot of stock in you to help her make her vision come true. You can quickly go from being her best friend to her floristzilla...

Floristzilla, if a bride shows you a picture of a bouquet and says she wants it to look exactly like that, make sure that the bride in the picture isn't a size 2 and this your client is a size 14, that will make a difference in the size of the bouquet. And you don't want her to ultimately be disappointed.

Floristzilla, please realize how important colors are to brides. If her colors are Burgandy and Rose, and the blooms show up to you and they are hot pink... please know that isn't going to be acceptable. Fix it before you deliver the bouquets.

Floristzilla, if there is a problem, address it, you ignoring the situation doesn't make things any better. It does in fact, make it worse.

Floristzilla, communication is K-E-Y! Please communicate, don't wait 3 weeks to return a call, don't answer other calls in a meeting with your clients, don't be late to meetings, don't not meet the contract obligations.

Floristzilla, if the bride tells you she has $10,000 to spend and your initial proposal comes back $30,000 that is going to scare her off. Don't do that. And then, don't come back and ask me what happened...

Floristzilla, don't get on your high horse during a meeting, there is already a lot of emotions going on when a wedding is being planned. And additional drama queen (or king) is not necessary.

Wow! There are so many more... what would make your florist a "zilla"?

Winter Boards: Red & Aqua

This week we are featuring winter inspiration boards in honor of the upcoming holiday. We paired red and aqua together for an unexpected color combination and look how beautiful it came out:

What do you think?

Vendorzilla: DJ

DJzilla... WOW! Don't be this guy....

Djzilla, we love you, and we want you to make this party awesometastic! So, really... help me out!

Djzilla, just because you are a rockstar DJ on Rock The Buzz 101.1 and your morning show listeners love to hear your voice, doesn't mean you should talk through the whole reception.

Djzilla, there is a timeline for a reason. We developed the order of events with the bride and groom. Please don't willy-nilly change it. It really confuses everything.

Djzilla, don't sing over the music... someone sings that song, and was paid really good money to make that music, you are ruining it.

Djzilla, you are an Mceeing the event, you actually need to let people know when things are going to happen. Speak english into the microphone... don't mumble... please!

Djzilla, uncomfortable silences are uncomfortable for a reason... please play music constantly... otherwize it sounds like a cafeteria!

Djzilla, if you cannot speak English well, scratch that... if you cannot speak English... and your words all sound slurred together, practice your words.

Djzilla, please don't get trashed at the wedding. You are there to work, not get so drunk that we need to call you a cab.

This goes back to using professionals! Please use professionals and you won't have this problem. Get references. If you are working with a Professional Wedding Planner, you'll be able to get professional recommendations from us, about who to use...and who not to.
